it's not that bad as long as you use the right tools
can't stress enough how important the long nose pliers are
also sounds like you were a bit impatient mate lol... I caught the wire a couple of times but then made a conscious effort to avoid it while I broke up the rest of the plastic because I knew something like this would happen

Very impaitent lol!! It isnt that bad, I think If I had a practice go I wouldn't of made the mistake.. I reckon I'll be alright with my second light lol. Im now driving about with just one Amber light...
