Bad news I just heard on the news at 8. The BBC have renegotiated their contract which had two years to run and from next season until 2018 they'll share the rights with Sky. This means the BBC will now only show 50% of the races live, along with the qualifying for those races, but for the rest you'll have to have Sky. Since Sky show the Premier League on a Sunday for 2/3 of the F1 season on Sky Sports 1 it undoubtedly means that F1 will be on one of Sky Sports 2-4 meaning you'll have to pay the full Sky package of £60+ a month if you want to see all the races from next season.

Just saw this on bbc sport website. Crap that BBC will only show half the races. Luckily I still have the dutch channels that show it, so will have to put up with the dutch commentary

This is pants, and you have the adverts too Why oh why have they done this? I would prefer listen on Radio 5 Live. More entertaining than Sky commentary.
