Quick question for Dan and anyone else with the manifold, has yours been wrapped or anything? Its just that the standard heat sheild wouldn't fit and I was a little worried about it getting too hot?

Nah that's fine. Mine was left off when I had my full system fitted.

i have had mine on for a year without a heatshild and have done two track days in the summer with it! and its not been wrapped either! i took the rubber off the back of the engine bay to let out any extra heat, does the same job as bonnet raisers

Loz.

i got mine half wrapped didn't make a huge difference i bought a custom made heat shield for it simple to do if you know someone that can make one you can use mine as a template if you wish

another way to let out some of the heat is what myself and Dan have done and that is to remove the rubber bit at the top of the bonnet it lets a bit of hot air out through the gap.

If you want it heat wrapped get it done by someone who knows what there doing and with the gap you got to do it whilst its on the car better off doing off the car to be honest.

Hope that helps

Thank you all for your advice, was just worried if it was safe just to leave it as it is but I think I will try taking that rubber off
