i'm going to put my full screen sat nav in the 500, its a kenwood DNX7240BT but i am only going to fit it if i can get the column remote to work with it. i've found an adapter on ebay, just wondered if anyone has had any success with these?

I have one for a Pioneer and it works just fine, so I guess if that listing says it's compatible with your model of Kenwood then you'll be fine too?

Just want you to know I have that exact same adaptor fitted on my JVC, everthing works great through the steering column remote

one small issue you will have to contend with is that with the iso adaptor and control adaptors all fitted (plus rca's, amp remote feed, telephone mic wire, usb etc.. in my case) you have a lot of wiring to try and squeeze back into that small area behind the unit which can make you ->

kevsta could you possibly tell me exactly what i would need to buy if I want to fit the stereo you have into my ST? i.e. a list of parts, rough cost and how hard they are to fit
