A few more goodies arrived today:

Need to buy a counter sunk drill bit to get the engine mount fitted as I'm not going to fit the rest until I can be bothered really

Also I got pulled by "the man" today, they thought my rarb looked awefully low, and made sure my tyres were legal and it wasn't scrubbing. And that it was insured which it all is so no worries.

To be fair they weren't being arsey at all, they were fine enough and just doing their job, I just thought that it was funny haha

Well another cr@p update for today:

Just bought brand new a few months ago, and the cops checked the front right as well yesterday so must have happened in the last 24hrs at most. Thing is I don't recall ever hitting any bad pot holes or anything. Just hope the wheel isn't damaged as well, might buy another just incase and so I have a spare

And not what I want with my tax due at the end of the month, bummer.

Yeah it's a total joke, going to try get the council to pay for it as it must have been something on the road that did it. Although don't hold out much hope but nothing to loose really.

I just ordered a new alloy and tyre, just incase and it was only like £50 more than just a tyre so thought at least I'll have a spare as I don't think the alloy is damaged but can have a good look at it in my own time really.

and my road tax is due as well, plus buying other stuff this will be an expensive month

Today's update is that my new coilovers arrived so got them fitted and also my engine mount bush:

On a negative note, looking at my old bush, the metal figure of 8 is smaller on the one that I put together so sometime over the weekend I'll swap them over, not sure why the other one I got is like 3-4mm thinner than the one on my car but cue sera sera.

Couldn't see what it's like though as I'm still waiting for my new alloy and tyre, which was meant to come today

Well my new alloy came today, so it's nice to be back on the road, well able to be

New on left, old on right:

And the fitted article, although hardly massively interesting:

I must add I measured the tread depth of the tyres, new was 8mm, old was 7mm, so I got 1mm use of that tyre
