Little update for today, got the mani all heat wrapped to help stop the clutch pedal going to s**t:

Also sprayed the intercooler to remove the jamsport logo:

And a nice picture of the charger lol:

Whether or not it has solved the clutch problem no idea but I'll bleed it tomorrow and find out. Fingers crossed lol

Did you take the manifold out on your own? I've heard that's a pretty hard job?

Yeah I did it all on my lonesome lol.

The first time I fitted the manifold I did it 2 man, and it was a total nightmare, lowering off the mounts, levering it forward etc etc.

Second time it was a lot easier because I did it by removing the scuttle, didn't need to move the engine at all.

How do you remove the scuttle? I'm trying to decide if its a good idea to try and install my full system on my own (with a mate) or put it into a garage and let them do it. I'm swaying towards doing it myself just wanted to know how much of a mare it is to do? Got any tips I could use? lol

Scuttle is wipers off, then the few plastic brackets and the scuttle. Then the air filter for te cabin air which is 4 self taping screws. Hardest part was removing the wipers lol. Also when re fitting I removed the mani studs. Also a tip is fit the mani first then the rest of the system after. I fitted my system myself and now the mani myself so it is do able on your own.

The clutch problem is that it seems to be boiling the fluid causing the pedal to drop. That's what I'm lead to believe and hoping it is.

So your saying that you took the wipers off and then removed the big plastic bit at the bottom of the windscreen? I thought that was sealed to the windscreen? It was on my mates car im confused lol

Wow Cat. I think I've read your project thread on STOC but read through this one and really enjoyed it. Do you have any vids of your car as I'd love to hear it lol.

Car looks absolutely spot on including the wheels and I'd have done the same with the cooler lol.

Will you be coming Ford Fair next year? I'd love to see the beast!

Cheers.

You sure? My mates was sealed apparently its supposed to be like that to stop water going down into the engine bay. Im sure theres a thread about it on here somewhere aswell.

Do you not have any water build up on the top of your suspension struts? That is apparently what happens when the seal between your plastic windscreen bit and your windscreen is gone
