went out this morning to wash the car and I noticed this...



I couldn't believe it! Just wish I had caught them doing it Oh well got to get a new one now, so whats the best way of getting the sticky stuff off?

Oh my lord..... I'd flipping kill them... Mind you someone has picked at the pink vinyl on my badge so I have to do it again...

The only thing I can think of to get the sticky stuff off is to perhaps heat it a little and just gently pick at it until it comes off. It might take ages but thats the only way I can think of without damaging the paintwork.

If you park your car on the drive, maybe buy one of these £30 camera's for the outside of your house looking on your car, it may just make them think twice!!!

I think T-cut is good for getting this stuff off... A little heat also might help.

Did they cause any damage getting it off!?

Luckily theres no damage! they must have used a credit card or something plastic I reackon, I think it was done in a car park while shopping the other day. Won't be parking there again!

Scotty it was'nt when It was parked up cause I have been leaving it outside on the drive latley, it must have been in a car park when we went to do Xmas shopping or in tesco's.

Checked it out, its £10 on ford parts uk and £13 on torquesteer. See if u can get it from Ford tho cause then they can fit it on too.

Try using a hair dryer to soften the adhesive a bit then pick it off.

Thinking about it what type of person actually goes out to nick parts off other cars???? Makes u think how they cant even fork out a tenner on a badge! If you want the real thing go and buy it - dont nick it! Idiots....

Beware though we had a spate of it in our works car park and the buggers will keep doing it until caught so if you park in the same place frequently keep an eye out.

thats awfull dark hayz! Just use hot water and credit card to get the big pieces off, then use a sponge or cloth with a bit of T-cut or MER for the rest.

Do NOT use nail varnish remover! Just a warning...

I used it myself after some advice a few years ago and it took the paint off my bumper...

I suppose it is one consolation that at least it looks like there was no damage done to the car, but it must be so annoying.
