Thank you for the warm welcome. I will add some pictures to the Forecourt as soon as i have some good ones, the weather has been really poor ever since i picker her up so i've not yet had the chance to get some good piccies but i will and the next available chance.

Absolutely loving the car thanks Scotty - i took the brave decision to move from a BMW MINI Cooper to a Ford and still i get asked - 'Why have you gone from a MINI to a Fiesta?" People just do not have a clue what the ST is actually capable of and i think that programmes like Top Gear and Fifth Gear give the car the credit it deserves.

A question - Since i've had my car i have only ever seen two other ST's on the road!! is this normal? are these that rare?

Its a good thing because people can't quite work out what it is, especially with the side stripes (which look great).

New myself but welcome anyway!

I've had mine for 5 months now, but still see very few of them on the roads.

Seen one white with Blue stripes - looked excellent.

How do you find the ST to the Mini Cooper?

Whitestripes - Thanks for your message, yeah i quite like the ones with the blue stripes. I think that the ST is much more of a drivers car as the MINI was a more of a designers car, someone that likes everything to be perfect!! The MINI certainly has more features but as you can expect this from a BMW. With regards to the power, the ST has much more torque and will pull away like a kitten with string!! The MINI Cooper had to get up to 4000 revs then it just kicked in and kind of took off 9But surprisingly it didn't have a turbo) i think it was the Cooper chip that made it do that.

I miss the MINI but the ST certainly puts a smill on my face!

Welcome Neal. I know of at least 1 other ST in the Leicester area and thats blueisthecolour's. Apart from that I'm not sure!

I'm glad your liking the switch, fast Mini's are just far too common around here I usually see several Cooper S's and even a few Works Coopers everyday on my way to work.

I know what you mean about not seeing many ST's I've only seen two and I'm sure the one was a demo car, I think i'm the only one from Gloucestershire on here

Thank you for the warm welcome, i am sure i will learn alot from here and have already sampled the 'Unlocking the digital display' tried this last night and can confirm that it works - but it can become very confusing with a lot of figures etc. Also it resets once you turn the ignition off.

Learn something new everyday, now i can learn even more.
