ok there is a cruise show coming up next june in carlisle and it got me thinking, we should start taking a number of ST's to shows. and have a FordFiestaST.co.uk stand. now im not necisarily suggesting we go to this cruise show in cumbria - although you can if you want. but i remember back in august there was the rsstoc.com there at Ford Fair with all there ST's and the like. so why can't we do this, would promote the site well wouldn't it?

It is a good idea, however... when the site has tried to pull in numbers to make a stand at a couple of shows in the past its gone a bit pear shaped due to people not commiting themselves and it not being worth it for only 2 or 3 cars - which is a shame to say the least as it would really be a great meeting point, and also like you say a great way of promoting the site.

But...
The forum is growing at a really nice rate now and everyone is really friendly, so I hope that next year we can arrange a few more things. If FordFiestaST.co.uk could have stands at a few places it really would be great if we managed to do that.

Of course we shall be arranging another big event again covering a weekend in the summer, so we hope yourself and many others will want to come!!

'tis a great idea, but as Chris said it would really need a decent turn out, and if sticker sales are anything to go by, it doesn't look very promising.

maybe if you made people pay a non refundable deposit for the stand (the amount it costs for entry/the stand and divide by the amount of cars on it or maybe a tenner or something only returned if you turn up?) then you wouldn't get as many people backing out at the end? just a thought. and if anyones up for a stand at ford fair - i'll certainly come - ford fair is heaven!!!!

That takes a hell of alot of work but its possible... just a shame not more people have purchased stickers as I know full well the people who have bought them will be the people will will turn up!!!
