Never had a problem in the ST, had issues with sainsburys fuel in the RS so would stick away from that, BP is just overpriced, stick with tesco or shell

Well the morissons diesel damaged a load of our work vans at one point, I don't trust them after that.

additives all supermarkets put additives in their budget fuel tesco got pulled up on it. so has sainsburys, merely because they have been caught out a few times when a batch or container has had too much additives and resulted in damaging the engine faster then what they are already doing. search it on google your find hundreds of websites and reviews and experts explaining how they do it. It's unfortunately common practice.

I think sainsburry's uses BP fuel anyway and ford always bang on about them being the best!
BP sponsors Ford Focus WRC Team, and have always had close unofficial financial ties, which still go to date with a 'no comment'
one can only presume each company has their fingers in each others pies.

Hi When you can get it cheap go for Shell VPower Racing oder Aral Ultimate (both 100 Octane) Or just take "Super Benzin" (95 Octane) like Shell Fuel Save Super for Example.... But you have to watch out .... since a few month the coverment is trying to sell us Super E10 (E10 means 10% bioethanol) Our engine is E10 ready but it simply sucks .... Less Power and a higher fuel consumption..... Only thing about it: It´s 10% biological..... Hate this crab like 75% of all Germans so it stays in the Gas stations

Shell V Power all the way...can't run my focus on anything less without the engine running rough. BP is too overpriced for my liking.

I've been thinking after reading this maybe, just back in december a mate of mine blew the turbo on his X5, after a long discussion with his mate who works for the RAC I was informed to steer clear of any supermarket fuel...due to additives etc. Might give the tesco 99 a shot though cos the 95 she running on atm is making her an ugly car to drive.

Always shell or tesco
BP is normally too expensive, no supermarket crap only for the van
Sainsburys fuel really mucked up my car had to dilute it with shell a couple of times, drove it down the motorway just to use it up
