You are talking about Oil catch can for the fume stuff or...
One of the guys at Croatian Ford forum has done it. I can try to get you some info and pics.

I've found some photos and some short info.

He says that he found cheap used oil catch can. On inspection he found out there were no wire inside. When I asked him why wire, he said for better condensation of oil fumes inside.
Also he says that the intake manifold was messed up with dirty oil and grease inside.
There were also some debate around the "vents" for vacuum and were you need to connect them.

cheers

I have a very nice one for sale!
Left over from when I was charged. I only had it on the car for 2 months. Caught some watery residue and I just poured it out!

Need to think of a price as it's a nice square metal one

Let me know if you're interested

They catch the oil crap that usually goes through the recirculate pipe back into the K&N silicone bend on the throttle body

I'm interested in one thing. I wasn't able to cofirm this. What exacly would happen if I just disconnect that hose that sends all that crap back in the engine? beside the ecology and the thing that is illegal?

Mine was disconnected. It just collected the crap and I had to empty it once a year!

so you connected the output hose to the oil catch but than you didn't connect the oil catch back to the filter?

Cos I heard story's that this "pressure" is important for something in the engine or maybe even lubrication of some part/parts.

Basically you way didn't even broke any rules/laws right, cos the oil catch was keeping all the crap inside?
