With the PS3 version I've noticed that when you leave the pit garage to go to the track (start the race, quali lap etc) it will judder for a bit as if it's loading off the disc or something I wonder if they can fix that.

Time to continue my carreer, been on hold for a while now, i'm at Suzuka and it's rainy all weekend so not keen on getting started

And having driven a Williams for the challenge, returning to my Virgin won't make it any easier

I'm on silverstone- just tried making it slightly harder by turning some of the assists off

How in hell do you drive with no traction control??? Its like cornering with the DRS open impossible

And does turning off the ABS increase your lap times do you think?

Its all about practice, i cant drive with TC on, it feels horrible

ABS will probably improve lap times as u wont lock up, i smash my front tyres in no time as i do like to late brake and lock up regularly

Medium traction control FTW. I drove half a season with all the assists off and then realised I was a lot quicker with medium TC

I guess its what you are used to, like the video i posted a bit further up, i am trying to really nail the cockpit view and it just takes some getting used to

It just feels right to use it for me, in car always for racing games

I can see how TC slows you down (can hear it when cornering hard) but maybe i've just been relying on it too much.
I seriously have to change my driving style completely as I literally can't turn a single corner without spinning off and crashing

Just gave my dad a go (not a console player, 58 years old) he immediately wrote off the car

haha hilarious watching him trying to learn the controls

I know what you mean and I suppose as you say it's about getting used to it
Tried that as well though and couldn't see a thing

This game has given me SO much more respect for the drivers
