Sorry boys cant make this! I start college the day after and need to get myself ready plus I aint got the money for the tickets, petrol and staying up there (as I didnt want to drive up and back in the same day as FordFair killed me)
So the stand pass that scotty was going to give me is going spare again for anyone who wants it!

Stason, how much was your hotel room? I just went to book it and they want £64 rather than the £27 they wanted yesterday...

the will always go up the closer you get to the date, you need to book atleast a month in advance or the price will go up!

even 1-2 months before FF, the prices were sky high for that weekend.
we found the Ibis to be cheapest
for FF it was £113 for 3 nights including breakfast
so about £37 a night

well i can book two nights at that place no breakfast for £95 for 1 to 2 people.

not ideal but if someone goes twos up its less then £50 which is more reasonable.

Or if anyone has a spare bedroom/sofa I'll be willing to take offers up

just saw this.
there is parking but its for the "Sol centre" including the cinema and shops etc.
you can buy a ticket from the hotel for £5.50 for an overnight stay
or if you just pay cash in the machine it will vary between £4 and £5
if you go in and out multiple times a day then you have to pay just like a regular visitor to the car park

just had a look at other places...

Holiday Inn is £81.50 for 2 nights
Travelodge Northampton Central is £65 for 2 nights

Not sure about parking though
