I bought a holder with a suction cup for my iPhone4 so I could use it as a car cam.
I've been testing it the last 2 days and the video quality is really decent. Actually caught an idiot on cam this morning.
Only problem is it vibrates all the time. Any ideas on something I could use to hold it steady cause I don't want to hold it still while i'm driving
(MacGyver ideas welcome as long as they work)

When filming on the motorbike i use a small bit of foam to stabilise the camera a bit, seems to do the trick. Dunno if you can use that idea somehow

That gyro holder is pretty sweet! Not exactly fast reacting though for vibrations.

Perfect for the RC aeroplane like they designed it for! Impressed.

as usual Rob, you are a genius...

works a charm, no vibration in the video...not so sure about the colour though

test run today, worked great but the iphone got so hot due to the heat of the sun through the windscreen it turned itself off a couple of miles from home
