I do like the Canons but also the Nikons. They had this great offer and both my brother and father have D80s with lots of lenses. So it made sense to buy Nikon so I could pinch their lenses from time to time. I don't have to immediately invest in my own lenses.

Can see that having lots of lens' avaliable to use is a big bouns when buying into a system. I didn't have that option so canon for me

3 hours to Assen
2 hours to Zandvoort
1 hour to Zolder (so Ive been looking here)

Also I have a Rallycross circuit about 15-20 mins away and there is the national champs newt weekend (17th) so Im probably gonna go there. European champs in august, Tanner Faust will be there

Filters are a bit of a preference, there are no real rules to them. I've taken off any filters I used to use because they were cheap and made the image quality worse. UV filters can help protect the front element but you need to spend decent money on them to make sure they dont degrade the image. Hoya are supposed to be good but I haven't really looked into them.
Polarizing filters are useful as they can take away reflections. Watch this. Stupid music but it covers the basics. I personally dont use any filters but I'll planning on getting a decent cpl for car photography. Hope that helps some what

Was a great day.
Shame I had to go alone as my friend backed out cause he was sick and could not organise anyone else to go.
That would have made it a bit better.
My feet just can't deal with walking/standing all day. I was there since 8:30, so quite pleased to make it to 1pm. Shame I didnt get to see the GT cars though.

Its a shame that this corner is the only real good photo spot without the barriers. Too many ppl wanted to be there
