Went to the garage today to check on the ST (I've not been driving her for a few weeks) and thought I'd share a couple of pics for the Forum alongside my Clio. Sorry for the crappy quality - low light in my garage.
Happy new year to everyone. See you all again in 2006 for new ST adventures
aww how cute they look together. all i can say is you must get through a lot of 'black tar remover' keeping them both clean. doesnt the ST look gleaming! lol - do you only have one set of index plates then? that u change over from car to car?
Quote: how can you not drive your st for a couple of weeks, i have to drive mine everyday.
I'm always very tempted believe me... But I drive the Clio instead for most motoring and only use the ST for special occasions. I'm not interested in wacking on miles on it for normal A>B get around.
Quote: The Clio needs a wash!
Actually it was not too dirty but it was pouring with rain and it was wet in the pictures while the ST in contrast was dry. The alloys on the Clio are corroded by the salty roads and need refurbishing really - hence they look dirty.

That's right Chris. Only one set of index plates for both cars and only a single insurance policy for both cars - I love this country for certain things.
Re the tar remover I've yet not had to do it on the ST though it's up for it now... as you'll see on the 18th.
Quote: hmm so could you get insurance on the clio then drive a tvr on the same policy for no extra euro?
As long as it was white, he's only insured to drive white cars!
Yeah... as Crofty says.. as long as it's white it's fine... Have to get a different insurance contract for all the colours you want to have...
No seriously... for liability (I think this is the term - the one where you cause damage to other people's property through an accident) you have to pay for the more expensive of the two cars to insure, and the cheaper one will be covered automatically - makes sense as with a single set of plates you can only drive one at a time. So in your example Chris you insure the TVR and you can also drive the Clio but alas not the other way around...
