Hi, I have only just joined and have a 55 plate silver st150. I was wondering if anyone has got any pictures of a silver st with stripes as I quite like the sound of black side stripes but I dont think I have ever seen a silver one with stripes. Thanks.

Get it, i have seen pics (can't think where) and it looked great, quite a rare sight too

I'd get full black stripes, dont get the blue ford ones, but black ones would look great

Chris, just read your post again and realised you were on about side stripes, not the full ones.

These are the only pics I can find with side stripes on a silver , the stripes aren't that clear though you can juts about make them out:




And although these aren't black, I've found a couple of pics of a silver with grey stripes, which might give you a better idea of how the colours might contrast:

not necessarily if the stripes a just a different shade.

It would have to be the reverse of that since the stripes on the GT are the same shade of silver as the bodywork on the ST, but I think it could work.

Hi, thanks for all of the replys, I am very tempted with either grey or black side stripes. Hopefully someone will have them on the prodrive day I am booked on (feb 11th). I have a picture on my computer of my car but dont know to put it on (it has been emailed to me). Does anyone know how much the side stripes cost from ford and how much they would charge to fit them? I might have to go down the ford garage anyway, my st isnt starting that well at times, looks like I might have the alternator problem that some people have reported.

as far as i know the only colour stripes ford do are white and blue, you would have to get them from a vinyl company (ppl on here can point you in the right direction) it would be cheaper anyway not getting them from ford

You wont be able to get the stripes in grey or black as standard from a Ford dealer. You will have to find a local graphics company or use one that comes highly recommended!! DMB Graphics, http://www.dmb.uk.com ,Email: sales@dmb.uk.com, Phone: 0121 3579971 or 07887 802726

Prices are around £20 for side stripes (solid colours) or £25 for metallic. The OTT stripes are around £75 for solid colours or £95 for metallic colours. I paid a local graphics company £30 to fit my side stripes.
