I'll try and revive this a little bit. Had my first sighting of a Mustang being driven, as I left my building at work today - looked amazing!

I've seen a few on the road now! not keen on the yellow colour though
Also, did you know that they are stopping production of the Ford Falcon as it is to be replaced by the mustang. But there are two problems with that... The die hard aussie ford fans aren't happy that it's an american car replacing there home designed/manufactured car. And also the fact that when I was there in March; Ford AUS couldn't get hold of Mustangs for love nor money to actually sell!

Top gear didn't seem too keen on the EcoBoost or V8 version..... If I could afford the 13mpg then I would love a new V8 version and at the space price as a Mondeo its not half bad!

Problem is at 13mpg doesn't matter how cheap they knock them out they won't hold any money

True which means in not too many years nice cheep used models .... Best start a V8 petrol fund in preparation

Saw a few of the new mustangs at Classic Ford, ironically.

I like the look and the ecoboost seems a good choice to me. I know people say "you can't have a mustang with a 4 cylinder" but we don't have as much of the V8 muscle car heritage here that they do in the US so I don't see why not... it still has 300bhp at the end of the day which is decent for 27 grand.

just wait until the weekend, there will be 10 times as many of the Mustangs and Camaros etc and there will be a load of special cars too
