All you do is unscrew the battery leads, slip on a ring connector and tighten them up again! Takes 2 minutes.
Yep, I imagine it is dead easy to do, I would have probably gone for 50w+ had I not got my set amazingly cheap off ebay. I know some people arn't keen on hiding an extra wire in the engine bay or don't dare touch anything they don't need to, etc.
I'd like to compare my 35w with someone with the 50w's at some point, will you be at FordFair pal?
I won't be mate, got an expensive month! Got 2 new tyres, rear pads, OSR wheel bearing, V Festival and Leeds festival going on! I need to make it to a meet soon though, don't think I've met anyone off here!

Yep, I cut a small section out of the edge, it shouldn't affect anything and at least it's got some protection to stop dust and grit going into the area behind the light.

I wouldn't say the rubber cap on the back of the headlights is really watertight as it is. The rubber seal only stops dirt and stuff from getting behind the reflectors and onto the wiring.
I'm not sure, but I suspect the bit between the reflectors and the lenses is sealed airtight once you have the bulbs clamped in?

Yeah, I also think me and Smith might have posted pictures that really show them at their brightest, ie purposely catching the glare in the camera lense.
In reality they don't look that bright (although admittedly they are bright). I keep the headlight alignment on 4 which is the absolute lowest they go and i've never even been flashed by anyone complaining it's too bright.
