When i'm rolling along quite slowly, as in rolling to a stop or into my road etc, I can hear a squeaking coming from the front drivers side wheel..

I did replace my brake pads recently, but I don't see how that could have affected anything to make it squeak? The noise happens as the wheels are going round, but as I speed up, either the noise goes away or the engine noise blocks it out...

Any help of where to start would be great!

Cheers

Jim

it takes a while to wear your pads in so you will notice some squeaky for first 1000miles. Just brake sharply for a while to wear them in quicker but be careful and don't do it near other drivers.

Did you change your discs at the same time? What pads did you put on?

Alot of brake pads have a "bedding in" part to them. The first 2-300 miles wears this away and they do tend to shed alot of brake dust during this time. It could either be that, or the backplate could be touching the disc, causing a squeak.

Jack it up and spin the wheel round, you'll soon find the issue.
