Anyone got ap's fitted?? I'm really low at the front but the rear isn't as low as I want!

I've taken the adjusters out so its lower then with the adjuster!

Anyone no what mm the rear springs are on the ap's?

Haha I'm not swapping them now!

What if I got some custom made 60mm springs and put them on the rear???

The question is, do you want the car to handle better or just be lower for aesthetics?

If you want just lower then custom springs are the way forwards.

If you want fantastic handling to boot then getting it flat to the floor won't help. At least the Bilstein B12's as suggested by Kaxe (and owned by us both ) have been tested and developed on the track.

Yes Stew is quite right

As Bilstein are just the right height and handle amazingly. I used to throw my Fiesta into corner after corner, round about after round about with ZERO traction loss!

the rear should be about an inch higher than the front for good handling, and you dont want it lower than a 30-35mm drop!

i think the 35-30 eibach set up it perfect I've got those springs fitted at the moment, noticed immediately the handling improve on corners.

but a bump the car looses footing so I'm after the B8 shocks, which have been recommended when i get my AWD conversion (not any time soon) both front and back have to be adjusted to suit AWD.

my set up is good, but i wanna go for the low look

i cant see myself racing around in my car lol do you think if i got customer springs made for the rear with my ap shock it would be lower? if i had them made at 60mm

been quoted about £55 for a set of custom 60mm rear springs

i dont think you can go much lower Keely have you had it on the ramp and check the spacing between the wheel arch liners?

i had to tie-wrap my rear ones cause they rubbed on the inside tyres.

45 is about as low as you can go with 17" wheels without scraping... although they did scrap sometime in the arches!

Yeah, I think you would really struggle with 60mm, although the veedub guys do some pretty extreme lowering and consider it cool to rub the arches. You'd almost certainly be the lowest ST i've ever seen that's for sure.
