going back now a good 5 months or so i ordered the mountune CAIS for £208.

weeks pass i completely forgot i ordered it and the item was still marked as unpaid and undelivered.

so i chased it up and i didnt get any where and told they would check it out.

emailed again weeks after and in the end got the old bank and cancelled the debit on failing to provide goods.

months passed i genuinely forgot about it all, no hard feelings. until today this came in the post.

Not entirely sure but i think i got this free I'll have to check my bank balance. it hadn't been debited at all so i presume i got it free

then i realised it wasn't what i ordered anyways i ordered this so as you can tell i have no screws and nothing to bolt it on with rendering this air cover useless.

Any suggestions what to do?

Anyone here work for Mountune, does Yellowbadge or have close connections?

It's the cais carbon fibre lid by the looks of it mate. All I'd have to do is take my cais lid off and replace it with that one. Mountune sell that for well over £100 and it's always on back order. I want one pretty bad tbh

Dal has connections, I would be honest and phone them and offer to send it back, only fair.

although someone sent me 4 centre caps by mistake and i sent them back lol

yeah you wouldnt wanna risk anyone getting a bit funny about it. i'd phone them and tell them ... they might give you some more free stuff for being honest lol

Just keep it in the cupboard for a couple of months without selling it, see if they get in contact

And if they don't get in contact then sell it to me yeah that sounds like the best option

What i would have done is put this in the members area so no mountune workers can see what you've got

great............... i ordered a cais a couple of weeks ago now, i did not think i would have wait 5 months lol. I hope they send it soon, also when i made my order they did not even send a confirmation email i thought that was strange do they wait until they have the part before they sent you a confirmation email?

Just contact them and explain if they say keep it then good luck selling it i have one been trying to sell for ages with no joy! haha

well i want it now... i think im looking at getting 2nd hand CAIS and replacing the cover with this one.
