Lets start with a little introduction. My name is Steven and I live across the pond in the Netherlands. So my English grammar and spelling isn't perfect, sorry for that in advance. Anyway, I used to drive a Honda Civic EP1, wich was a nice car btw. Had a great time driving around in that car and modded a few things to improve it's performance and handling. But it's still a 1.4 90 hp engine, with very little parts available for it. So I started looking for another Honda on the side, for track use. After a while I was like *** it and started searching for diffirent brands of cars. 2 Weeks ago I bought a Ford Fiesta ST from 2008 with 40.000km driven. It's still stock, but over time diffirent mods will be installed. The reason I registerd for this forum is because the dutch Fiesta club forum is pretty quiet it seems, i mean not many active members. If you have any questions feel free to ask them. Now some Pictures of the ST and Civic (with partlist) Pictures of the Civic + partslist: Honda Civic EP1 Sport, Engine: - Injen CAI - Invidia G200 catback - Megan racing 4-2-1 header - Megan racing de-cat Suspension: - D2 Racing Sports coilovers - D2 Racing Sports camber kit - Summit Racing upper front strutbar Interior: - Skunk2 shiftknob Exterior: - Pilot 8000k xenon - Seibon “mugen” carbon spoiler Rims + Tires: - 18” Arays AR 2 - Pirelli P7000 - DIY Glow in the dark lugnuts Pictures: Civic still with koleshiya badge and sport sticker: Rollingshot: @ Weekly meeting transferium Leiden: Civic Club Holland sticker: @ Industrial area: Back: @ Japanse car festival 2011 @ CP Zandvoort: @ Japanse car festival 2001 @ CP Zanvoort 2: Testing the exhaust: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=rCSJLmlOqBo Civic Club Holland members from the Hague and Rotterdam on our way to the Japanese Car Festival Circuit Zandvoort: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=xKix-8diCK8

Thanks all Sold the Civic btw to buy the Ford. Since the civic had a european engine in it there wasn't a lot more i could do to it. The EP1 is almost the same as the EP3 type R model only with a diffirent engine, it only has 90 hp on 1200kg. So i decided to sell the car and start over. My goal with the ST is to get 180hp+ n/a. Should not be to hard to achieve that, is it? @Steviehouse: (i'll reply in English, so other people understand it aswell) Yes it is pretty quiet there, also takes a long time to get an answer when you ask a question. Already noticed that this forum is quite the opposite and only for the ST models wich is a big plus. Trip to the Nurburgring next year??........I'm in!! Anyone going to the European Ford Event the 11th of september? Or this Sunday to the meeting in Utrecht?

Ahh good to hear. Got my eye on the pumaspeed st190 kit. After that i'll probbably start working on the suspension. Turbo or supercharger wont be on the list. Maybe later :P Ok, well see you @ EFE 2011 then, i'll be on the Fiestaclub.nl stand. Yeah, it's a combined meeting with the focus club. http://forum.fiestaclub.nl/index.php?showtopic=16525But like I said, Members aren't really active on fiestaclub.nl. So I hope the turnup's going to be better then just 15 cars.

I'd steer clear of Pumaspeed not a great response from them or customer service either. I'd personally use their kit as a blue print and do it your self if you want 180BHP Go for: Full milltek Evo 4-1 exhaust system K&N Induction kit 60mm Throttle Body Remap 190bhp Full milltek Evo 4-1 exhaust system K&N Induction kit 60mm Throttle Body Cosworth 200bhp spec cams Remap 200bhp Full milltek Evo 4-1 exhaust system K&N Induction kit 60mm Throttle Body Cosworth 200bhp spec cams Cosworth forged inlet Remap Alternatively you could get ford trusted modifications and get your car MountunedSteven, probably worth signing up to the forum plenty of information to get your taste buds tingling for modifications on here.

Thx for the welcome @STASON: Well, I don't have to deal with Pumaspeed myself. The company where i bought the ST will import and instal the parts for me. Also thanks for explaining the hp i might get with these kits. Might sign up in the future, for now i will just look around Especially if the Nurburgtrip continues. And if i can take a few days off from work.

Haha, yeah it's for sale at MEBU. They were also at EFE with a few of their cars. Didn't see your car, but i did see the supercharged ST from Belgium. (the one with the black stripes). ALso saw you walking around after one of fiestaclub.nl members pointed you out. Didn't see you after that point on, next time i'll say hi right away! :P Also this friday i have a little road trip planned with 2 friends to france. We still don't have any hotel booked or places to stay, so this is going to be fun. :P All we know right now is that we're going to visit Paris and then back to the Netherlands via the westcoast of France. Probably going to sleep in the fiesta one or two days. I bet it's going to be one hell of a trip. We have (video)camera's with us. So i'll try to keep this topic updated.

Came back yesterday from a roadtrip through Netherlands, Belgium and France! We repaired my friends car after 10 minutes, then we got lost in france forcing us to sleep at a gasstation. Then the next night me and a friends got lost in Paris after our tomtom's batteries where depleted, we got no phone signal aswel or adress of the hotel, se we tried to drive around trying to find something that looked familiar. After a while we got ahold of the other 2 friends who where already asleep so we got the adress of the hotel from them. We got home around 4 am in the morning, after being lost for 5 hours. Then in Antwerp we almost got busted. The police got a call of 3 dutch cars were one of the owners had a tazer. The tazer was just a toy gun we bought at a gasstation. But anyway we got cornered bij 5 policecars and about 12 cops. I got a pocketknife in the car which i forgot about so i almost got busted :P Then the next day we went to Antwerp and checked into an hotelroom which was already taken. After that we went to Doel and another cop showed up to send us away. So we went back the next morning. But after driving around downtown Paris with a blowup doll on the seat next to me or streetracing on the champs elisees in a Honda Civic, i'm glad i'm home, next year Italy! :P Here's a little impression of the trip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yctmC5JXRqEWe took over 500 pictures, as soon as i have them i'll post them here @Stevie, the fiestaclub.nl forum is working again!

Been away for a while. But after the winter i will buy the Pumaspeed package. Just can't decide which one yet. The st190, st190+ or the st205 But the diffirence between the st190+ and st205 is almost 400 pounds and only for a manifold? It's almost 3000 euro's excl. Fitting. So i'm still on the fence. I also want to purchase some coilovers. And i've got another road trip planned for september 2012. This time from the Netherlands through Bruxels/Antwerp, Paris, Monaco to Pisa. There we eat some pizza and head back home. :P I'will upload some pics of the last roadtrip (Netherlands to Paris and back) tomorrow. And btw: How do i Edit a post. (to edit some grammer and spelling, so it gets easier to read). EDIT: nvm :P

Hi Duss great pictures there i see the dolls that me and dan has caught on over seas lol now i cant wait for our euro trip next year! The milltek full exhaust system is steep i managed to bag my full system 2nd hand for Ł700 with a sports cat which was a steal away really. i suggest keeping an eye out over at FSTOC in their for sale section to see if you can get it. Again because your abroad it might be tricky to get over unless you make an arrangment with the seller. Pumaspeed are not the most favoured over here however they have gone on a recent campaign to improve customer relations you may be able to get disscount with FSTOC as they are now trust partners with the owners club. The kits your talking about are by no means cheap to achieve 200bhp your looking at near too Ł3k if not a little less. 2nd hand Ł1,000-Ł2,000

Small update! The Fiesta is fitted with a Pumaspeed ST190+ kit. And so far i'm enjoying it to say the least...In fact..it's f^&*%ing amazing!! The increase in HP and Torque is..eh...well....noticeable! Don't know the exact HP/Torque, but were planning to do a dynorun within the next month. I've also signed up for a few quarter mile events, starting in April. :P Next on the "to do list" is a coilover set and spacers. I'll try to make a video and post some pics when i'm able to. Same goes for the dragraces planned this year offcourse. I will also try to keep you guys updated on the times i set during those events. BTW @ Stason: Why are there no holes in your babygirl?? (sorry i just noticed it )

Yep you're right, but it was pretty close though. At the end i was moving in on him though, was only 1/8 mile, in june were facing off on the 1/4 mile. And why the reason for dragracing? Simply because my car isn't ready for the track yet. And car events aren't as big and special as here in the UK. Instead of just letting my car sit pretty at a clubstand in wanted to participate in some of the events. I don;t mean show and shine or audio drag. :P So i signed up for drag races this year. Anyways i really enjoyed racing and it tastes like more. We had to sign up and let our cars checked at 07:15 in the morning. Everything went wel so we drove our cars on the track to line up. I have to admit i wasn't nervous until i lined up for the first time. It was against a Opel Corsa A. The car was complete stripped and modified. I lost against it on the 201m but i would definatly beat it on the 402m. Simply because he had a great start but at the end I was right on it's tail and overtook him behind the finishline. :P The second run was against a Honda Civic EG, who actually was racing a class higer as me. Needless to say i didnt have a chance. 170/180 hp and 900kg vs my Fiesta. The 3rd race was against a Renault Clio. And he ate my dust. Finished over a second earlier then the Clio. It was also my fastest run. 4th was against an old Opel Astra, also stripped down, but i think i could've beaten him. If... I .....didn't misshift. The last race was against the Seat TDI. The owner is a friend of me. This car has 165hp and 380nm torque. But at the end i was drawing closer in on him. Hopefully we will be facing off on the 1/4 mile. After the racing I parked my car on a club stand from my friends. The club is called: Honda Heerenveen Meet :P But hey a Fiesta deserves a good spot, preferably with red carpet! Anyway, the dragracing was't about winning or face-off against other cars. It was about setting the fastest time. My fastest time was 10.309 with a speed of 115.57 km/h. It was good to get me 14th place of the 22 people who raced in my class. It's not to bad for a first time. My goal for the next time is trying to get below the 10 secs. How i wanna achieve it? By getting a better reaction time. Looks slower then it was :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoJZNHWRaf0I've also ordered some more goodies. BC Racing coilovers, spacers, and a strutbar (front - upper). And about the becoming a premium member. How do i pay, since i don't have paypall or creditcard (and almost never buy anything overseas myself?

Wow, its been a while since I've visited these forums. I' try to make up for the lost time with these: But as you can see it's still not as I wanted, the torque is a bit off. Just a bit low with my mods. I'll try some stuff this summer to get that extra bit of torque back. First off i'll send the sheets back to Pumaspeed and second I'll try to modify the CAI. I currently gor the K&N 57i and have three options. Option 1: i'll change the K&N for a Typhoon Option 2: I'll put a box around the CAI and cut a hole in the hood, so the car will get cold air from the top of the car instead of from beneath the car, in theorie this is the most ideal option because the CAI will get cool air and it reaches the engine faster. Option 3: i modify the CAI to get cool air from the fog light (which i smashed during a crash on the ring in Germany. Still not sure what to do. And yes i crashed at the Nurburgring, still not sure what happend. It was pretty busy since we went during the same weekend as there was a motorshow/event on the GP track. Anyway at the corner Adenau there was a bike on my tail, so i decided to get of my line to the right to let him pass. I was traveling around 130/140km/h when the rear tried to catch up with the front of the car. At which point i lost control and scraped the right front end of the ST the left side of the track. Damage: 2 crooked tires, broken wheelbaring? (Wiellager, cmon Dutchies help me translate this! :P ), damaged sideskirt, bended metal right side above the right front wheel, a big scratch ont the right front bumper and 5 euro's for an arrow sticker with the text "I kissed Adenau". If it happend 200m further I would've dived nose first in to the rail. Anyway I still look forward to the next time on the green hell. Also I have done something Unforgivable....... I have removed the white stripes, not the cd from that band, but the actuall viper stripes. But I have put on some other stripes and some of you may nog like it but I think it looks "ka-lassy". Unfortunatly there is a bit of colordifference so i will wash and wax the car tomorrow after that I'll post some pics. And this monday, I'll hopefully get launch control on my car (don't know if Omex works on a stock ECU or in combination with a Pumaspeed custom tune? anyone that can answer this?) and a new towhook. And when the weather lets me, I'm going to plastidip the wheels black. Last but not Least, I will go to Ford Fair this year and I'll be on the Dutch XRRS stand. Hopefully I see some of you guys there. We'll probably be in a hotel near Northhampton, don't know if there are any local meetings the day before Ford Fair? If so let me know, and I don't mean meetings filled with barryboys and chavs. I'll post some pics of the new exterior/look tommorow. And sorry for the loooong read filled with grammar mistakes. (To lazy to change every mistake I made :P )

See the Pics below. I got inpired by Duff with the black on blue, but didn't want a copy so decided not to put viper stripes on them. Untill i saw a Ford Ka. So I thought Ka-ching that looks Ka-lassy. It's our first time to Ford Fair, and the Dutch Ford comunity is not as active as the UK. So basicly we plan to be there a long weekend, 3 or 4 days. Still figuring out to do. Maybe vistit, Jamsport Burton, looking for some nice fotoshoot locations and stuff to do. we really don't know what to expact so we're gathering as much info as possible till Ford Fair. Anyway here are some pics of the ST a few moments after the white stripes were removed :S As you can see there is some color difference, but it looks worse 'cause of the rain: And this is today after a good wash and polish. But 5 mins after i was done there was a hailstorm. It was only in the town where I live, lucky me. But as you can see the colour difference is almost gone. It needs a another good wash and polish to make it look even better, but I'll probab;y do that a few days before Ford Fair ( I'm to lazy :P : As i said, I want to plastidip the stock ST wheels as soon as the weather gets a bit better! I also managed to get a Cupra lip for around 20-25 quid. And I try to get diffirent brakes before Ford Fair. So much to do and this project will probably never end. But then again, i will never sell this car and drive it until i wreck it or till the day i die. Just don't hope those things are on the same date :P

It's something diffirent, not everybody will like. But I do! And if I ever get tired it's easily removed. Can't wait to plastidip my wheels black, it will look even better imo.

Thank you!
Anyway, i'm not that active here. But hey lets change that, since me and and a few friends are coming to ford fair. We'll be staying in Northampton.
Next update is underway for the fez. Ebc red stuf brakes and discs front and rear. I'll post pics when its fitted.

No not yet, since my plan was to put the wheels right back on the car after dipping them. And with the weather we currently had.... Will do this before Ford Fair though.
Ow and i made a donation a few hours ago, so i'm eagerly waiting for my blue name :P

Guys i need your oppinion, about to get banned on the dutch forums because i'm not affraid to speak my mind. Anyway this is the story. We have a tuning company who specializes in chiptuning. So this guys had his st chipped there. His only mods where a k&n 57i intake and a 60mm gasket. Somafter getting his st chipped this where the results: 166 whp 183 bhp So i told the the tuner (who is active on the dutch fiestaforum) that this couldn't be correct. I mean there not specialized in ford or anything, they probably just load a standard tune and thats it. I think maybe the guy made a mistake and meant 166 bhp instead of whp. But yeah there pretty popular company on the forum, so me and a friend got asked if we could remove our posts. (Which im not going to do). I mean gaing 33bhp from just a gasket and cold air intake is a lot. But do you guys think this is possible? (Its a shame i couldn't post this in the mk6 tuning forums yet. )

Yeah same here, i think the company is trying to advertise their tunings and used this guys st as an example. I mean the higher the bhp the more people think: i want that too. Thus more profit for the company. If this is the case then there just scaming the customers in my oppinion.

Lets hope the guy will post the before and after results anytime soon. But judging by him dodging simple questions i doubt it.
But lets be honest the dutch fiesta forum is nothing compared to this forum. 'Specially when you compare the technical and tuning info and such.
Ayway other question, will you two be at ford fair? If so when and how do you travel to the uk? Our group takes the boat friday morning at calais - dover.

We have booked our hotel and boat already. We booked a hotel in northampton and take the ferry from calais to dover on friday morning at 09:20 because we have to check in around 3 pm. So we'll have to get up at 6, around drive to calais enjoy the boat trip and time travel at the same time (time difference) and then we're on our wayto the hotel.

Yeah sorry i meant checkin from 3am. I have to look the name up. A friend payed for the boat and hotel since he was the only one with a creditcard. I believe its a holiday inn but i have to look up theadress. Might be northampton or banburry. I said i don't mind where we are staying, as long as theres a bed im fine.
And its early for me too. I live near leiden. So i'll be staying in rotterdam the night before.

I dont think we're going to change our bookings since were taking a detour to northampton to a bit more of thecountry and also were with 7 people. I will ask though. But hey we can always meet up in northampton. Wasn't there a meeting/get together of this forum the day before ford fair?

I did know the guy from unlimited tunig read all the posts as i saw his name in the online members list of that topic. But i guess he has nothing more to say as he an't provide any evidence of the results. Btw this sunday is the xrrs club year meeting in lelystad. Are you and Stevie going? I know it's a long drive for you guys, but stil...

Allright some small updates. I have dipped my rims in police stripe yellow. I mean bright bright yellow/greenish. I'll post some pics as soon as my yellow towcord (is that what its called? :P ) is fitted and my white stickers replaced by bright yellow ones. I have also order green badges on the dmb graphics site. And i have ordered a rear strutbar and pipercros cai. The foglight will be removed. Which will be done in the first half of september. Next on the list will be bucket seats, seatbelts and steeringwheel. As soon as i have the money for it that is!

No i use plastidip (blaze yellow) so i can change the color every couple of months And because i don't want to buy expensive new rims which i'll probably ruin within a couple of weeks. There are pics in the "project section" of the forum.
