On my Fez, if I want to adjust the intermittent interval of the wipers, I have to turn it on then off, wait how long I want the interval to be, then turn it back on

I find it very irritating to do this every time. It would be so much easier if I could use the wiper stalk with the 6 speed variable wheel setting.

Anyone know if this will be plug and play if I get one?

did the mk1 rs also have the same way to adjust the interval then?

when I picked up my washer jets during lunch, i asked the ford dealer and they said there was never a one for the mk6 fiesta, and one from another car wouldn't work. they said i would have to replace the whole wiring loom and steering column etc

earlier this afternoon i took a look behind the steering cowl to see how many wires were into my wiper stalk.

There are only 9 wires, so it probably means the wiper stalk with adjustable interval probably wont work

would anyone with an ST please confirm me 2 things...
1. the pic above...is that the same as the ST wiper stalk?
2. if anyone would be so kind, can you check how many wires go into the connector for the wiper stalk?

thanks

Thanks Ben

The cover under the wheel is held in by 3 screws, then its just a few clips to the cover part above the wheel.
If anyone would care to take a few minutes to take a look at the wires, it would be much appreciated

there are 2 parts, top and bottom, there are just clips holding the 2 together and they just pull apart from each other

thanks for giving it a look though Alex
