Antics Registered: 12/12/10 Posts: 189 Loc: Sheffield	.... and not just for economy reasons. My brother had a nicely worn in BMW 320D Coupe, and the torque and pull is surprisingly good, even the handling is sharp. Having recently swapped to motorway driving for my job, and the appeal is starting to wane without any nice A-roads Turned up at the bro's and found one of these sitting on his drive, but in black (13miles on it!). Diesel... nah?

I drive a lot on the motorway to work, but for example I was looking at a Focus 2.0 TDCI, 136bhp and 320Nm torque (can be chipped to about 170bhp easy enough) So not only is it much more powerful than my ZS, better pull and more economical too I really think my next car will be a diesel _________________________ 2015 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Tez Registered: 03/01/09 Posts: 2509 Loc: Co, DURHAM	Drove my mates seat leon FR 170 diesel after fitting a clutch to it and it was very quick in 3rd 4th and 5th gear the torque was great, would definately have a modern diesel car. My partner vicky has a 1.4 diesel fez on a 56 plate and it pulls a lot better than the 1.4 petrol we had, plus £30 a year to tax and 50+ mpg. _________________________ Fiesta ST200, K&N Panel Filter otherwise standard for now.

Craig_North_East Registered: 16/08/11 Posts: 88 Loc: Newcastle Upon Tyne	I had a Pug 308 1.9 HDi GT (diesel) last week for a courtesy car. Seemed really quick although it was 13 BHP slower than the Fiesta ST. But I think it was the torque that was better. Would like to have seen the 2 side to side.

Got 65 on the m-way Very well put together car and would definalty consider a golf in the future _________________________
