I used this around my fog surrounds but it fell off within an hour or so
maybe it sticks better to metal?

Make sure the wheels are properly clean and dry and you'll have no issues, its dirt cheap too, especially in Halfords

I asked the guy in Halfords where the Rim Tape was and he said they didn't stock it. He said I must have seen it online 'somewhere'. I explained that I'd seen it on the Halfords site and that I'd been advised they definitely sold it. He still insisted they didn't, explaining "if we did we'd have it as we're one of the larger stores". All this was spoken with an attitude. Proper

i had an argument with them about flat wipers!

they were so cocky and confident that you couldn't get them for the ST and they didn't sell them (they weren't with the other wipers)

i left it and then wandered round the shop a bit further and bugger me there they were on a shelf round the other side of the rack!

i took them to the till where the same bloke was standing... i said "look at these wipers that don't exist and you don't sell!"

i didn't buy them i walked out leaving them on the counter with him looking very red and speechless haha stupid little chav learn your job!

They don't deserve my custom after speaking to me like that - I came home and ordered some from the link Dan put up instead. Apart from that it's also around a 45 minute round trip to Halfords and back (Blackpool is bigger than people think )

Thanks for the info anyway though Rob

Way off topic but this thread reminds me of a headline I saw on some technology website a while ago about the playbook tablet thing, here's a link - http://lifeissavage.com/sorry-what-was-that-about-7-inches-and-rim-jobs/

Don't worry it's safe to view if you're at work!

No word of a lie, I was sorting through a drawer today and came across a long strip of red rim tape.

What are the chances, I was freaked out.

Now I just need to find a use for it.

Ha, no I've been too busy with work and uni

To be honest, I'm happy enough running anthracite centre caps at the back and the black ones at the front - makes it a bit more unique. Will get round to it eventually though...

I love the look of black alloys with a silver lip(rim). So I would go with silver/chrome style tape on black wheels.
