I`m a bit confused I reckon......

On the righthand you see part of what seems like a strutbrace but on the left there is nothing......

what`s going on??....

hahaha, yeah... forgot the most important thing...

Yeah it's a brace of sorts. It meets up to the top of the bulhead to provide a bit of extra rigidity to the suspension turret, very effective it is to. I am surprised however that there is not one on the other side, like there is on my car. Makes me wonder if it's there for another reason.

Yeh, what i originally though of the first picture that it was something todo with the windscreen wipers!

Can't see clearly in the picture if the bracket has anything else attached to it, or whether another component attaches to it?
