Quick detailer can be used just to get off light dirt, dust bugs etc. Not a substitue for a wash. I use it mainly for shows. Wash the car the day before and when you get to the show give it a quick spray and wipe down to get it back upto 100%

Yeah once wax'd the car will be much easier to clean for awhile too, i'd advise just using a shampoo wash - i found when using a wash and wax cleaner over what i'd already hard wax'd it was glazy. The correct shampoo will also enhance the life of your wax and sealant too... a great shampoo for this is Finishkare #118 SC imo
