Not just blue... it's Imperial Blue on the Mk1 - the Mk2's Performance Blue isn't as nice.

The green is indeed Ultimate Green... it's on the invoice for the order i placed in 2008.

Me too, I've still got my pristine bit of paper tucked away to say I "nearly" owned one.

Ford used Performance Blue on the Mk2 RS as Jost Capito, the head of Ford's Team RS, said he preferred it as it was a nicer colour. Crazy man!

Once I get the ST 500 alloys, st bumpers and spoiler I was thinking of doing a few things such as:

- painting the windscreen washer jets green
- painting the calipers green
- maybe painting the spoiler green
- painting the wheel nuts green
- buying green flappy plastic mudflaps

The green I want is the ultimate green or kawasaki ninja green or something similar

none of these are definite as I am not sure how it will look and I don't have enough money at the moment. The car is a basic 08 fiesta style mk6 in panther black and all I have done so far is
change the orange side panel indicators from orange to White and also painted the grills black.
Thanks for your help guys!

Cheers mate, you wouldn't happen to know roughly how much it would cost to vinyl wrap mirrors and a spoiler would you?

looks well nice!

not a clue mate, less than £100 i'd guess? hopefully someone else will be a long soon with a more accurate estimate!
I got my rear bumper resprayed for £120 so it'd be less than that i'd imagine as wrapping costs less I assume

No idea on cost but maybe have a try yourself. The wrap should come in at under £20

Sould do the spoiler and maybe enough to cover the mirrors too?

If it all goes tits up it's not a massive amount of cash gone.

That is tempting but I wouldn't know where to start with vinyl wrap. As you may come to find out In the next few months I'm not as knowledgable about cars as I would like to be

Best way to learn is give it a go

Youtube should have lots of guides to help out or just try my way and make it up as you go along. Most of the time it works

Your right, I painted the grills myself and they came out great. I think I might buy the vinyl wrap off eBay, thanks for the help mate!

I know with vinly you can heat it with a hairdryer to shrink the wrap to help remove air bubbles.

pmsl... even funnier with the neck snapping torquesteer he exaggerates lol.

I'd love a mk2 but there is something about the MK1 that just appeals to me a little more - more of an emotional thing... the Mk1 seems to have more "soul"?

Mine is quite heavy though... Even Duff was getting away from me on the way to Ford Fair!
I may go for more power one day... I would like MR375 or JS400 but most of all just a new inlet manifold as the standard one's can explode!
So either a Mountune/Sitech one, injectors and a custom map

I think I might give it a go. Maybe I'll get black vinyl wrap for the mirrors as I think green mirrors might be a bit ott, not sure though.
