that's pretty good price, mine was more than that fours years ago, yes I missed the free fitting as at the time of the offer I still hadn't had a ride in one, Chris on here got his done and took me for a drive and a go at the wheel so then I booked straight in for 185. Simon will look after you , I have asked him and MT on Mountune FB site what's the score with the kits, will post when they reply back, he keeps asking me to order the MR200 inlet Worth the wait. Mine is currently running on Fuelsave and loving it.
Yes I was expecting about £1800 fitted so it was a nice surprise when he said £1600...allowed me to spend the extra £200 on some eibachs. And thanks for asking them the question about the kits...you didn't have to but great to see forum members helping out like that I've seen a few vids of the MR200 kit...sounds gorgeous and I bet it goes like the clappers. Still not seen an official 0-60 time and power curve which would be cool. Bit out of budget for me at this moment in time, so i'll gladly enjoy the mp165 for some time and then decide on future upgrades.
@burn4. Completely understand where you're coming from saying it is a lot to dish out. Thing is I've just started a new job so I've decided to treat myself...and as far as I can tell you just can't go wrong with this kit. And if you do look around, similar upgrade packs cost just as much or even more (e.g. the equivalent puma speed pack with full sports exhaust is about £200 more fitted). And on top of that I just don't have the time or facilities to be fiddling around with individual upgrades. As much as I enjoy tinkering with my car I'd like to get it all done in one go and just enjoy it for the miles to come

What do you actually get in the 165 kit? Cais, exhaust and remap? Or is there something else? Seems to be quite alot of money for what you get?
+1
Then again fitting an exhaust isn't cheap so probably not as much as it seems!

CAIS, custom 57i filter, huge air feed, piper tubular manifold, sport cat 200cell legal, full stainless system from here to tailpipe, remap, couple of MT badges, product key code (to access the Ford download remap) and nice tunes.

easily to upgrade at any time too, add on kits. MR200 has combined both kits, so you get lots more grunt low down and fair bit quicker mid range onwards, scooby like sounds from the inlet when on throttle and fairly quiet from what people are saying, going to be under 7 to 60 guess at 6.8.

Plus this kit is ford approved and fitted by ford people (unless you go to the mountune HQ...but still ford approved). Now I'd imagine a lot of our cars are no longer under warranty (like mine, being an 07). But ford wouldn't approve such a kit if it didn't meet their standards which is just a huge plus cause the last thing I want is to get a kit like this added on only to have problems with it. At least with mountune I get piece of mind and the ability to take it to my local ford dealer should something go wrong. Having said that, I'm sure the other kits out there are great...I've just decided to go with mountune as a personal preference (when they do eventually get the parts in!!!).
