A while ago I put a car air freshner directly onto the plastic coin tray on the dash. The chemicals made the plastic flake a little bit. Is there anything I could cover it up with?

Coin tray? Do you mean the tray near the windscreen? I always thought that was for sunglasses or in my case its where my pg tips monkey lives

Well I suppose you can use it for whatever you want but yeah that's the thing I mean.

Thanks for the suggestion Lee, but I rarely use my phone while driving as I use a Tom Tom. Any other suggestions anyone?

You could cover it with some sort of rubber anti slip mat I suppose?

You could make a handy coin holder for it

£1 rubber anti slip mat ordered from eBay. Is it sad that I know it will still annoy me knowing it's flaky under there?
