I do that all the time But im normally only stopped a very short time each time

But wouldn't you have still got a ticket anyways for being stopped on double yelow lines?

Erm no your wrong? If thy havnt put the ticket on and TOOK a photo WITH the ticket stuck on the car nothing can be done? Had one writing the ticket on his computer iv walked past not said a thing got in car drove off he was literally running after me trying to stick it on! Know. Few people that have done it not one of use got a ticket!
Ps how do the courts know you wasn't moving when that pic was taken or you moved on the pavement to let emergency services past??????
