These are amongst the most popular:

But there are others. In terms of cost - people have paid vastly different amounts. I paid 3 figures but others have paid £60ish.

Did that include getting the car aligned, which I've been told you have to do after fitting springs.

Lo suspension sell 35mm springs with next day delivery for £75.

You do not need to do the alignment after fitting the springs as it shouldn't change it.

Fitting all 4 springs takes about 1 hour, so whatever the hourly rate is on your area.

The axle spacers bring the rear wheels out by 12.5mm each side. Makes the handling better and when lowered, brings the top of the wheel equal to the arch which makes it look better.

The kit is around £25 from Ford (Make sure you get the bolts also) and is well worth doing.

Because a garage will always try to sell, sell, sell. It may be worth getting it checked (For free) and IF needing adjustment, get it done.

The Lo springs are TUV approved so meet all neccessary regulations, they just aren't a big name like Eibach. Can't see a problem with them, also get free next day delivery AND 12 months warrenty. Not bad for £75.

The axle spacers are easy. If you wait a few more days Ill be doing a guide as I'm fitting mine tomorrow and there will be a detailed guide, with pictures along the way.

DONT get your tracking done at the same time, because the springs won't have settled fully so you're just wasting your money

pretty much every garage will say you need tracking done (because, correct me if i'm wrong, but it only takes a very slight 'knock' or driving through a pot hole etc to knock it out of perfect alignment) but if I was you i'd wait for a while before you get the tracking done so the springs have had time to settle down

I got my tracking done when it was lowered, then again a few weeks afterwards when it was serviced (may as well have not bothered the first time I was told)

Agree 100% with what Burn said. It takes 100-200 miles of driving before the suspension fully settles. Also, any knock will affect the alignment, it's very sensitive.

More sensitve than with the standard springs? Would have to avoid potholes as much as possible?

You would have yes because the ride is so much harder. Avoiding potholes comes more naturally when it's lower, or so I'v found this weekend when driving around lol.

The fronts sit nicely in the arches fella. However, you could get some wider alloys to fill the arches with (' ',)-b
