From the damage to the screen it looks like a boulder has hit it

Not good though, £70 down

Painting them is a piece of cake mate! I left mine on and they look pretty good I think and I used spray which is messier than painting with a brush

The days plans haven't gone so well..........I didn't measure the distance between the studs on my friends alloys, and they don't fit :@. Serves me right for being a fool I guess. Back to square one .

Check my project thread for pictures of painting the calipers. Leave them on and paint them, leave um to dry for 2 hours then put the wheel back on. Don't drive until the next day though. If you have axle stands you can get it done a lot faster. I had to use the standard jack on all 4 corners seperately.

Looks great even with the calipers left one. Makes a massive difference especially if you get a bright colour.

Thanks a lot krAwl ! I might do it on Saturday when I wash my car hmm. I don't think I have axle stands, but there's definitely at least 4 jacks in the garage?
