I'd say the chassis is bent and the boot floor also.

I wouldn't hold much hope mate, as that does look like it's going to be a total loss. But, if they say there's 2-3K work, it won't be.

Probably won't write it off mate, if anyone remembers my crash and the sheer ridiculous amount of damage that f*****g curb caused yours should be fine mate.

Mine needed New wheel, new front bumper, new windscreen, 2 new airbags, new bonnet, new front wing, new suspension, etc etc etc think the damage was nearly £3k so don't be too upset just yet

Unfortunately with the prices of our 's going down and with this damage ....

boot floor pan is buckled up, both side rear quarters are damaged

From recent experience, (Julies car Feb 2011). If the repair comes to 65% of the book price value, it will be a write off. Hope it's not

Mine didnt look that bad and it was a write off But mine was a 55 plate and they gave me £5100 for it so it apparently had more than £3315 damage/repairs

but fingers crossed mate

Not neccesarily, they did a mates first accident to 100% of the car value, isn't it down to the insurance company as to the %?

I thought that if the boot floor was creased that it was an automatic write off due to the amount of work required to the boot floor and chassis?

Thats one reason why I didn't put my MK5 through insurance when a Ka ploughed into the back of it. Nowhere near as bad as that, but I knew it would have been a write off.

A bent boot floor will prob mean write off. The chasis, axle, breaks, wheels, impact bar, bodywork +spraying, boot everything +labour will cost an absolute fortune
