Glad your ok. What a crap thing to happen just before Xmas. I had a lady in an Audi A4 in tesco carpark reverse into me on Friday evening. Smashed my bumper and did the same to her's. No details were exchanged through mutual choice... For the sake of a bumper and the time it would take to sort out... My insurance would have raped me for hundreds extra. Not worth it. In your case... This is what insurance is for. Get a claim in for yourself... This will help fund a replacement car.

This is where you ask for cash in hand, not just eat a bullet and buy yourself a new bumper for an... OH WAIT I SEE! She was hot right?

Shait news mate. Hope it gets resolved quickly for you. As the other have mentioned, our cars are our pride and joy, but they can be replaced, whereas we cannot.

Scotty how about this then my GT-four i spent thousands on over course of year and a bit i took out on the 23rd december to work just for a quick spin 1 day out off already 2 months being stored in a garage.

and someone ploughs into the side of it on the 23rd December, then admitts fault and 2 months later changes his story and says it was my fault and i have caused him injuries to the back and takes me to court for injuries and fault of crash.

i now have to go to court this year on the 22nd, my barrister has said i have a 75% chance of winning considering the impact zones clearly show he hit me not me hitting him but can easily be countered apparently.

i just want to get it settled and out the way

these pictures don't do much justice to how bad it is the guys taken full responsibility so I should be getting the car evaluated today to see if it can be repaired the back end basically needs totally replaced, crash bar is in the boot, boot floor pan is buckled up, both side rear quarters are damaged the back bumper needs replaced, the boot wont open and needs replaced. dunno about any suspension or chassis buckled or anything, hopefully its repairable, if it is my compensation will be funding some upgrades to the engine.
