£84 is quite dear to be honest. Sure I paid about £70 for mine from camskill with free next day delivery.

it is, I just can't be bothered with online sometimes and hidden costs (if any) and the need to have somebody at home, last time I contacted camskill they didn't contact me back. I hear camskill buy zillions of tyres and sell them for 1p profit each.

good choice!

usually wider tyres are rarer and low volume production and high price I would guess.

yup and your be suprised even if it's a few inches wider on one single unit if they make 300,000 tires the costs are much more then a smaller tire for reseources, so they have to match per unit to make the money spent making them.

Dal i'd be interested to hear how long they last on your focus. On my little zs they were very soft and only just got 10k out of them.

I wish our size tyres were cheaper too. Saying that though my falkens were only £68 a corner

I had them on my second set of alloys on the Fiesta and they had done a few k and still look like new when i sold them.

I dont expect the same mileage as the contis and the toyos are softer but when warmed up they are awesome.

falkens are awesome and thats a great price

i got proxie 4's apparently much better in the snow although made out of the same rubber as the T1r's... last year in the snow they was excellent... never got stuck unless i beached the car on a bank of snow too deep....

honestly i powered up very steep hills and they got me all the way up... the toyos ive had on the rear for 20k+ and there half worn... the front's wear out yearly because i tend to be a fast paced driver on empty country roads
