That one was certainly a Granada here. The one after was called Granada in the UK and Ireland and Scorpio in the rest of Europe:

I think MG built in the design flaws just for the fun of it I also had a knackered door lock which would could wake up the whole street when you unlocked it. Scared the hell out of me first time i heard it, thought the car was about to implode, one of the reasons i finally had to move her on
