I'm going to run and hide now while I get the standard 'TRAITOR' and 'OLD MAN'S CAR' comments. Do your worst!! LOL.

In all seriousness though, there's a few good reasons why and one is that it would save me quite a bit of wedge every year compared with the Focus, and I am going to have to get my own place sooner or later so that money would come in handy for saving!

Plus there's more room for a child seat.....

And it's the best shade of blue ever.....

AND it's fully loaded and makes Biff look a bit spartan.....

23. Nah they don't do the MPS in the new 6 model, just the 3.

tbh, I dont mind them, find it a little weird that the 2.2 diesel has 20PS more than the 2.5 petrol though

I never used to like them but they are growing on me. Walk past a black one every day and looks quite good. Dare i say it but i'm even starting to like the 3

I think it's great. Dad's is the newer facelifted model and has 180PS but the slightly older pre-facelift one that I like (pictured above) has 185PS.

And re: the Grandad comments. There must be some pretty cool Grandad's out there then. Mine used to drive a Fiat Punto.

I love the Focus to death but I do get tired of the attention it gets. The Mazda's more subtle. Took Dad's out for a spin tonight (supervised!) and oooooft!

There's a good chance I won't yet lol all depends on what they offer me for Biff. He means too much to me just to give him away. Not sure how much (roughly) to be looking for though? 16,000 miles, big spec, pretty rare car with the 2L engine.

Well if I'm honest I've always loved the Mazda 6. When I first had a go in one I couldn't believe the standard spec that came with the sport model. Apart from illuminated scuff plates and bumper protectors, EVERYTHING is standard and there's no options you can add!

Jap car I suppose lol, full of toys!

I see reason in selling the focus to save money, but why not buy something that is actually going to save you money, ie, cheap/free road tax, 70+mpg, cheap maintanence cost on tires, engine parts etc?

Well, like I said, the 6 will save me more money than the Focus. And I want something that has a nice presence on the road, not some heap of sh*t!
