Fair play to Alonso for getting on pole, although he did have a bit of luck today. If Q2 hadn't have been red flagged undoubtedly he would have gone out then, but you just have to take advantage of these things when they happen. A shame that Glock's spin spoiled Button's last lap to put him out is Q3.

Can't just blame it on the spin though, Alonso had waved yellows in the last sector as well at the end of Q2 because of Grosjean being in the gravel, but he still managed to set a lap to put him into Q1.
Button hasn't been performing at all lately, hope he can do better in the race...

he put on a fresh set of inters and after the first 2 sectors was setting the fastest lap, but because a marussia (glock i think) spinned on start finish right at the end of the session, waved yellows on start finish and a corner or 2 before, so he had to back off and didnt get a good enough time in
