Hey guys, making my first post as a full member

Anyway, last night both my bulbs in my car blew at the same time!

I am a bit reluctant to think its the bulbs though as its weird they would both blow together....coould it be a relay?

Im heading over to a friends friends garage on my lunch break to see whats up!

Also the guy who looked at it has noticed my wiring loom is split open (sits under induction kit) and has been taped up in places....has someone been playing with my wires?

Uh oh maybe some wires have rubbed on the induction kit at some point and then been repaired? At least if there is an obvious point where the wires have been altered it cold be a simple fix. I'd say the fuses would be blown because of the short! Best just taking it to your friend!

Fueses are fine, checked all them, bulbs also look ok.

Would help if there was a light on the dash so I could atleast tell if the switch was working ok

This happened to me the other week, I was adamant it wasn't the bulbs as they looked fine. Took it to a garage and they replaced the bulbs and turns out it was them. Strange that they blew at the same time but apparently it happens. Get a bulb and check mate

you say its weird but both bulbs turn on at the same time are on for the same amount of time they could have the same life span so not so strange when you put it like that
