Hey guys, just looking for advice and comments really!

Seting up a computer business (check link in my sig), and was just wondering what people thought to the logo, name, description etc etc and any comments!

Also feel free to 'Like' the page and send to your friends, I'll be happy to help with any computer problems you have or need advice on.

Also could a mod PM me any details about advertising on here? Not sure how it works, plus at the moment, I'm not selling anything, just using what I know to help others for free

Thanks!!

Ashley

Hi Ash,

looks like a promising and refreshing idea

Looks good mate!
"Help us Storm the UK" clever line without being too cheesy

Cheers guys!

Yep, i was so impressed with that line I turned into a small child for a moment

I have also change my name, its still me though :P (Ashley6)

Looks good mate, good luck with it all!

Good luck with it mate

nice work here i work in IT (server and infrastructure side ) may need some advice about a broken laptop.

Always good to have something on the side and if you're good at it, why not?

Looks good Ash, hope it picks up for ya!

Cheers guys. Banksy give me a shout, I have limited experience with laptops but have just managed to take apart my girlfriends to see what happens and put it back together. The Dremmel was used too

Pretty sure there isn't an issue I haven't heard about in someway!!

Steph I agree!! Its only a part time thing. But rather help people out than waste my knowledge!

One thing I will say, ditch Facebook, buy yourself a proper domain name and get a proper website up and running. The worst is things like http://storm.freewebsites.com or www.facebook.com/storm etc.

The type of people who want this sort of service, aren't the sort of people who are on Facebook, nor who want to sign up there. Also advertise in your local paper a full list of what you offer.

Good luck

www.stormwillfixyourpc.co.uk/com

I will if it becomes popular enough. but I have no idea how to make a website, and can't really afford to pay someone!

I will be getting some ads in the local paper though! Just need to make an add

Word of mouth is essential so maybe try to get yourself some customer feedback The guy who fixes my laptop put up adverts/notices up in local shop window displays and the local Post Office.
