guys this was on the rs site so may not apply to all car clubs (price etc etc)

this was posted by ford fair
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There has been a lot of (justified) unhappiness with the Club booking for Ford Fair in recent years and for 2012 the Events team have been working closely with the mag team to come up with a better solution. So club booking are now open with a couple of key changes...

• Booking for this year will be on a first come first served basis – book early and you will be plotted closer to the main pits and paddock area and any special requests will be taken into account before later bookings
• Area 17 (the gravel trap!) will NOT be used for club displays this year
• Club ticket prices have been frozen at £15
• Camping is available to book in advance on the club booking form for a special club price of £10pp which covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday night

Thank you for the information Kenny and I'll take this into account when setting our booking deadline later in the year.

I'm up for camping. Not sure if my car will quite be of stand standard. Infact it will probably be hacky dirty after traveling down 300 miles

Honestly can't mate between the 7th and 17th cars in the garage brakes off and being sent off for powdercoating.

Also all the metal frame work is being re-coated with waterproof protective paint.

Unless i get a lift up i can make it

The sooner you get the forms in, the better the area for the club stand?
