To be fair, although the RSOC did have a right moan last year, I don't think there was any favouritism this time around. When I first started taking orders in March someone said that they'd already booked their stand months ago? Future had said that stands this year would be allocated on a first come first served basis from the centre of the track and although I've had some run-ins with them in the past, in fairness I think they stuck to their word in the way they gave stand space out as we did get a much more central spot than in previous years where we've booked at the end of June and ended up right at the edge of Silverstone.

cant thank scott, sarah, chris and the others that helped to get the evo out after it broke
No probs Dan, just glad that you got it out of the circuit and got home safely in the end.

Not a single photo from our stand... Perhaps we should park a little better next time. Ill be brutally honest, our stand looked a mess, just looked like a public car park, not a stand at a show.
The stand looking a mess is not our fault. When we arrived there was room for about 10 cars and the Escort owners were all cleaning their cars whilst blatantly knowing they were in our allocated spot. Kev was on the phone to Scotty and the stewards were going mad. We had no time except to tell people who weren't on the track to park at the back and those who were at the front. All the good stands belong to the most dominant clubs or those who arrive super early and have the space and time to park properly.
I agree Steph, it's not something that we can be blamed for. If it hadn't been for other people parking on the stand then we would have been able to organise things better rather than having to work around that. When me, Scott and Patick arrived later on I think there was still some people there who shouldn't have been. Having praised Future earlier, the only disappointment is that I don't think we were given enough space as we should have been for the amount of cars. I did give full measurements of the gazebo, but there was no way we could have fit it in the space provided. However, again I can't be certain how much of that is down to not having enough space allocated and how much is down to other people nicking our plot.

i agree with that last bit Chris, considering we were a few cars short of the total stand passes purchased as well then there wasnt enough room for us to get everyone in in an organised and 'stand like' way. Never the less, i still had a good day and enjoyed my first show as part of a stand. Same as everyone else has said as well, to everyone who has played a part in the preparations a massive thankyou

for those who disagree why don't you plan the next one and see all the stress that Scott, Chris, steph and kev deal with.

thank you

I don't think the comments were aimed at the people who were organising, just the stand maybe, compared to other clubs, don't think there was much we could of done with that space. Everyone appreciates efforts made
