Has anybody noticed any problems with their thermostat in their st?
My cars getting really hot but blowing out cold air from the heater.
I'm panicking it's my gaskett.. I've only done 33k miles, serviced regularly.

Mine was doing that and it was losing water, then my waterpump went in the same week.

I got it replaced and it has been fine ever since.

Really?
That makes me feel a bit better. Thank you Lozzy.
I've had to leave it up my dads cos I was panicking about driving it down the motorway.
Was it expensive? I'm guessing not?

Yeah I was the same, mine started overheating on my way home from work so I had to keep stopping to let it cool down a bit.

I managed to get it into the garage the next day and it was fixed quick.

It wasn't expensive, not sure on exact price because i got him serviced at the same time

Hope you get sorted x

My car was squeaking last night, too, which apparently is a common sign.
Ah I'm so glad! I'll stick it in for a service too, I think.
Thank you! x

Robynne, my clio did the same thing except the air was hot! Then it chucked all my water on the floor like a child!

Turned out the water pump and thermostat and thermostat housing had all broken

Worked fine after I sorted it but it did lead onto a blown head gasket!

Get down a garage
