I always thought the law was if u had just the flashing light on your bike it was illegal, if it was a 2nd light, the 1st being a standard light then you're ok

I may be wrong tho..............

some of the decent and expensive ones kind of appear blue (flicker) like car xenons from certain angles or undulations of the road.

Isn't that illeagal to cylce like that i was habving this disscussion with my mate there was 5 cyclists cyling on a road bunched together 3 deep. they took the entire road.

only highway code recommended no more than two abreast, police can take action if more than one abreast is unduly holding traffic up from making acceptable progress. This is actually discriminatory as the police would not attempt to prosecute other vehicles (anything really) holding other traffic up, tractor, large HGV......but there you have it.
In this case a cyclist can actually ride on the pavement if he feels he is holding up traffic flow and his safety is at risk on the adjoining road.
It'a moot area of very unclear law.

I met a cyclist with a really powerful light on their bike the other week i couldn't see so i put my full beams on as i passed at 15mph it was that bright.

almost every day i pass some guy with a stupidly bright headlight on his bike, i always dip my lights for cyclists why wont he do the same?

there are bright lights and there are people who don't know how to use them properly. Practically you need two, the powerful one to light the road and another to be seen that being a lesser powerful one, flashing mode perhaps.
Don't yet make a dipper setting , there are some that can be switched to various power levels though, usually couple hundred quid for these.

Ah doesn't suprise me British law has always been a mystery

I've had two cyclist's rest their handle bars and weight onto my car door in some sort of lazy attempt to not loose footing or put their feet on the ground both occasions i told them to "get the F**k off my car before i get out".

Both of them are chinses i had one lad on saturdayfew weeks ago shopping hold on to my wing mirror hitching a lift, shortly ended when i swirved my car gently into his direction narrowing his space forcuing him up a curb and into a traffic light harsh but he got the message. This was at like 10mph guys may i add i'd never of done that at any faster otherwise i would of caused a fatality.

You southerners are odd. You would get run over and then reversed over if you did that to someone's car up here lol.
