I quite like side stripes on an st, although I didn't go for them as I know when I put them I'd mess it up and they wouldn't be straight lol

Mine is white with blue sides, but naked OTT. Got it like that, and although I'd prefer red side stripes, I think the blue looks natural.
I like them with or without, so there's my advice (somewhere :S)

No one has stripes any more, keep them

I agree
Too many people have ruined the trend and got black wheels and de-striped, black wheels and de-striped ...so common
If I owned another Mk6 ever again I'd be a bit more original and enjoy the stripes. There's a silver one across the road from me with full OTT blue stripes + side stripes and in the sun it looks better next to a white one with full OTT blue stripes + sides!

Try putting an st500 decal on your bonnet and getting it straight, hardest thing in the world!

I'm don't want to dissappoint but they're probably coming off when it gets a bit warmer. I'll get my pro race 3's first and then decide wether to keep them or not

I thinking of destriping my pb st in the spring too, but I always liked the stripes. Think they stand out nice with my white rims and completes the car, but saw an picture of an nice pb without stripes too, so I want to go for the "clean" look for a while. They need replacing anyway so if I don't like it naked I'll just getting new ones. Anybody know if there will be a big diffrence between the paint on the side of the car and under the stickers?

Depends on how old the car is I think? Could be wrong on this though. Mine is nearly 5 years old and I would never de-stripe
