Been on here for a couple of weeks now but going to formally introduce myself as a paid up member. My name is John, but I go by my middle name of Chris as there are too many Johns in the family now and it gets a bit confusing. I am a teacher and I have recently moved up to Bedford from London following my divorce (to be completed in a matter of weeks) from my civil partner. I havent had a car in 2 years as there was no need for one in London, but now I'm looking for something pretty to play with and hopefully by the end of march I will have found my new "partner"  . Look forward to chatting with you all and eventually meeting you guys and girls at some point and hopefully you will be able to provide some sound advice to this n00b!!!!

hardest thing im going to have to get used to is the slang and jargon here. Its hard enough having moving towns and having to compile a new dictionary of insults that are thrown around the classroom lol.

where in Bedford have you moved to? i used to live just outside Bedford till last year when i moved in with my gf, i now live in dunstable and drive to Sandy every day for work
