its a torx bit yeah, torx 30

but if you got a well fitting flathead between the widest part of the torx shape, it will work, i've done that before, before i had torx bits

If you look along the front of the bumper where the grill used to sit theres 3 notches that hold the bumper in. You can slide the bumper out of these notches and it gives you more room to get the lights out. Not much but it helps. And bending the bumper bits either side that stick up help aswell just be careful

I did but I put the light back in so it was fine

Tomorrow I'll be more sensible about it and not try to remove it whilst holding a torch in my mouth and shirt and trousers on..hardly attire for removing headlights

Don't even know where to start on the foggies, I'm guessing I'll need to jack the front up? Which I can't do as I don't have a jack >>

in the fog surround there is one screw, undo this and take the surround off.
then there are 2 screw holding the fog light in place, undo these, disconnect the wiring and replace the bulb

That sounds far to easy, I'm gonna have to make it more complicated..like almost cutting my finger off when I tried to replace the bulbs in my corsa!

someone on here must have done fog lights before so id imagine the answer will spring up soon. might be able to get in from under the bonnet if you can find enough room. would save jacking it up hopefully.
