Ive got a little bit of money set aside and i cant decide what to do with it.
the options i have are.
1) Getting a personalised number plate which would be this(a combination of my first names Adam James then 54 and my last name Morley:

2) Get the plastics done professionally in Black but with the lower grill surround in white. like kinobeSTew has done already on his(i saw it and fell in love).
I know its not hard to do the plastics myself but i dont think i would trust myself..

Not gunna lie, I do love my personalised plate
But gloss black grilles just make the car look so much better than stamdard and way more subtle that a private plate.

Plate mate, i had the lettering done in carbon fibre effect, that coupled with the CF DMB badges, my ST looks smart...the subtle touches make a difference IMO

Out of interest what sort of quotes did you get for professional plastics? I'm dying to get mine done but terrified to do them myself.

Well I've got a friend who does it do don't know how much it would be without mates rates...he told me he would do it as an extra out if hours if I gave him £30 and brought the paint

Those plates look so sick!

Out of chesterfield....illegal Plates attract unwanted attention.

In chesterfield I have seen all sorts, from wrong way round letters to 20cm spacings to pink and white plates. If you was to go through Sheffield/Mansfield/Derby with such plates you would be pulled straight away.

If it wasn't illegal I would have R 12YBO instead of R12 YBO. Been tempted at times but can't be arsed with hassle what comes with it as I travell all over place.

Is it obvious though? Or like a shuttle difference?

I'm guessing some of you guys must live in areas where the police don't use ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) cameras? As illegal plates confuse them then it would be picked up very quickly, and here I know I wouldn't even get into work without getting pulled over by the police.

shuttle difference?

It depends, my brother in law used to have the 8 on his moved across so it said 8OBS- his name is Rob so it like like Bobs

anyway he got stopped all the time and had to change them so just left them off in the end- some people get away with it though

I wouldn't illegally space my reg, around here the cops use any excuse to pull you. Police always follow me and havnt stopped me for the domed plates, they use ANPR too so I'm guessing they're ok to have lol
